Wheatbelt Pools builds and installs fibreglass pools across the WA Wheatbelt. This policy explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle your information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you contact us or request a quote, we may collect:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your town or suburb
• Whether you own the property
• Your desired pool timeframe
• Anything else you tell us in a quote enquiry — block size, access, pool type, budget and so on

We only collect what you choose to give us.

How we collect it

We collect this information when you:

• Fill in an enquiry or quote form on this website
• Submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form from one of our ads
• Call us
• Email us

Why we collect it

• To respond to your quote request and answer your questions
• To prepare quotes, arrange on-site visits and provide our services
• With your consent, to send you occasional marketing about our pools and offers

Cookies and tracking

Our website and ads use tracking tools:

• Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (Facebook/Instagram) — these record actions such as visiting our site or submitting a form, and can send that information to Meta.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads tags — these measure how people use our site and how our ads are performing.

These tools collect usage data — such as pages viewed, your device and your general location — and may be used to show you our ads on Facebook, Instagram, Google and elsewhere online. You can limit this through your browser settings and your Facebook and Google ad preferences.

• Our website and form hosting providers, who store and deliver your enquiry on our behalf

Some of these providers — including Meta and Google — store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States. By using our site or submitting an enquiry, you consent to your information being handled overseas by these providers.

How we store, protect and keep your information

Enquiries reach us through secure third-party services and are kept in our email and business records. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it — to handle your enquiry, deliver your job, and meet our legal and tax obligations — and then delete or de-identify it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us at any time to:

• See a copy of the information we hold about you
• Correct anything that’s wrong
• Delete your information

Just email or call us and we’ll respond within a reasonable time — usually a few business days.

Marketing and opting out

If we send you marketing, every message will include a simple way to opt out — and you can also just reply, email or call and ask us to stop. We’ll action it promptly, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We won’t send you marketing you didn’t agree to.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please contact us first — email or call and we’ll do our best to sort it out.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
